Bill C-39, the Building Canada Strong Act, uses the guise of national interest and foreign threats to infringe on Indigenous rights, our sacred Treaty rights and our inherent sovereignty.<\/p>\n When the Prime Minister shares a heartfelt speech about reconciliation on September 30, we remind him that Indigenous sovereignty needs to be upheld on October 1, and every day after.
